Ok this is just something that i get annoyed at every so often. So while playing my 360 every so often the game gets interrupted by a little ping noise to tell me i got some form of achievement. my reaction is usually "woot i did something" but when i think about how pointless the system is i just have to wonder why it's even there. I mean, i'm not knocking the system it's just that it doesn't seem to do anything having x amount of gamerscore points. bragging rights can be fun but...it just seems they could've given back to the gamer a little bit by say turning those oh so valuable points into something we could use in the marketplace to buy add ons and the like enticing the gamer to play ALL of the game instead of only certain parts and when that game is exhausted then the gamer would go out and buy another game. i think microsoft has to take more initiative to innovate a bit more without even touching on their design flaws for the system (obviously they are taking some initiative with things like natal but you get my point). What's your opinion or what do you think they could do to give back to gamers?
