Does anyone think that the 56 game hit streak by Joe Dimaggio while even be beaten and if so by who? Personally I don't think that anyone can beat that streak. Anyone disagree?

I have to agree with you. It's hard to beat or even reach it.

I have to agree with you. It's hard to beat or even reach it. That's true, but someone will break the record. Maybe this guy will once he gets older.

Jeter was very "close" ... his 11 game hitting streak was snapped today in the Yankees' loss.

Mariners prospect James McOwen didn't waste any time extending his hitting streak to 45 games as he singled in the first inning in Class A Advanced High Desert's 6-2 loss to the San Jose Giants on Wednesday.
