Oh well. Hitting .400 in a season is really hard. And Mauer's average dipped by like 6 or 7 points after 2 games against the Yanks. Yeah, his average is down to .373 today. Hopefully he can get a 20-hit streak or something like that to boost it up.

Well, that's true, but as I said, if he gets a really lucky streak (and he'd have to be really lucky) then he could get his average over .400, play the minimum games required to have your stats "registered," and fake an injury. Lol.

Do you think Mauer will manage to get .350? Right now he's at what, .355. I predict that he'll finish .340. That's still phenomenal, though.
