Hey guys, did anyone play or is currently playing one of the 3 RCT games? I have the 1st and 3rd (never bothered to get the 2nd). I really like this game because it let you build a park like you were a park manager, and it was fun at the same time.

Did you like the 6 flags parks they had? I think those were part of the game.
I like the "real" amusement park scenarios in RCT 1 since it taught me a lot of things on the mechanics of coaster building and ride positioning.

I have the third one. I have had them all at one point. The Third one is really fun, I love the 3D aspect of it. Building your own amusement parks is always fun. I used to spend hours and hours on the game every day.

Yeah, I did only for the first one, though. The third game, while it did have 3-D, just didn't seem to appeal to me as the first one did. I don't know why, maybe it's because I like the old fashined square grid and uniformity in the first game. The game also had a poor performance on my computer, which is supposed to be really fast.

Yeah, RCT3 becomes really slow on my computer after playing a while. Especially if I make a big park, then my computer starts lagging and sometimes will even crash. I agree, I miss the old games. I was hoping there was going to be a 4th release, but then they came out with Thrillville :/

I love RCT so much. I hate their new version, you know, the one that looks you're in a real life and stuff, though. I still love their first and second version. I remember you have it, Dan

Oh yeah, you might have played RCT with me once.
I only had the first game. I never got the second game, since it looked like a mirror image of the first game.

The first game was fun, but the second was pretty much the same. And then you have the third one, which is like a whole new game completely haha.

So ... LouZer, were you able to beat all 18 stages of RCT3 at the Tycoon level? I got up to about stage 4 before I stopped playing the game, for some reason.

Actually, yeah I beat the 18 stages. I've had the game for years though. But I have both expansion packs, Soaked! and Wild, and those scenarios are much harder. I haven't beat those yet. I usually just use Sandbox mode. My favorite thing about the game

You must be good. I had trouble getting past Apprentice level on a lot of the stages. But that's mainly because I play the game, get the slightest bit frustrated, and quit.

It definitely took a lot of work. I would spend hours getting frustrated and trying to do different things. There would be times were my computer would freeze and shut off after like four hours of almost getting to Tycoon. That's how my old monitor became broken
