Just wondering, are we allowed to make new BBCodes?

As long as they don't make this site crash or anything.

As long as they don't make this site crash or anything. I mean if it's possible for us to make new BBCodes?

I'm not entirely sure what BBC Codes are. You mean the codes that I've added to this site (such as the centering of the Quick Reply box)?

These are tags, whole of them are entirely known to be a BBCode.

Thanks for the explanation.
What new BBCodes would you want?

Thanks for the explanation. What new BBCodes would you want? You can make them? If so, how?

Oh, I don't know how to make them. Judging by the wording of your first post, I thought you could.

I could, but I don't know why we would want more BBCodes. I think we've got enough.

Oh, that would be great. You mean the ability to click on a word and it links you to whatever page you want, right?
If you can provide the HTML code, then I guess there's no problem in you additing it to the site. I think the code goes in the "Global Footers."

It's actually HTML for PHP 3: Anchor tagBBCode usage: [anchor={SIMPLETEXT}]{TEXT}[/anchor] HTML replacement: <a href="#{SIMPLETEXT}">{TEXT}</a> Anchor tag is what you'll need to put beneath a word. Example: [anchor=hi]Hey[/anchor] Name tagBBCode usage: [name={SIMPLETEXT}]{TEXT}[/name] HTML replacement: <a name="{SIMPLETEXT}">{TEXT}</a> When the word is anchored, you'll need to put the final name. Example: [name=hi]Hey[/name] {SIMPLETEXT} and {TEXT} are generally used for the pHp 3 forums.

I don't know if I fully understand what anchoring is. If you mean having a word be a "link" to another website, you can alwaus use this: [url=INSERT URL HERE]INSERT TEXT HERE[/url]
Thus, If I use that code, I can get something like this.

I think I had a code to that somewhere. I'll have to search for it. I'll inform you (PM) when I find it.

What exactly are BB codes? Do I have to repeat that? Instead of fast replying, when you click "Reply" button you'll come to buttons top of the message box. These are BBCodes.
