Heat win in 3OT. 140-129 D-Wade had 50pts and a DD 1 assist from a TD

You said everyone lost besides the Lakers ... I guess that's saying the same thing, but if all teams play then half have to at least win. ;D Anyway, the Lakers are in a weaker conference so that's at least reassuring.

There is a bigger disparity between the Lakers (1st place) and the second place team than the 1st place team in the other conference compared with the 2nd place. That's what I was thinking about.

I looked at the standings on NBA.com and the Western conference DOES seem to be more powerful than the Eastern conference. My mistake...do all the teams play other teams equally or do they play teams in their own conference more often? That could influence their overall record.

Here's what happened. - Mavericks beat Pistions (103-101) - Yay!
- Sixers beat Lakers (94-93) - Yay!
- Hawks beat Kings (119-97) - Yay!
- Bulls beat Celtics (127-121) - No!
All in all, I was 3 out of 4 in my prediction. Not bad when you consider the stunning rally by the Sixers to edge the Lakers by just a single point.
