Has anyone read the Charlie Bone series? I have, and I think that those books are pretty good. It's about a boy named Charlie Bone who is "endowed" with the ability to hear voices in photos. As a result, he has to attend a special school, Bloor's Academy, where there's about ten other endowed students as well as other students who are talented in art, music, and drama. It's similar to Harry Potter where they have wizards attend special schools. There are seven books. - Midnight For Charlie Bone
- Charlie Bone and the Time Twister
- Charlie Bone and the Invisible Boy
- Charlie Bone and the Castle of Mirrors
- Charlie Bone and the Hidden King (this was my favorite)
- Charlie Bone and the Beast
- Charlie Bone and the Shadow (I haven't read this yet)
What do you all think?

Well... JK Rowling ripped off X-Men

And judging from Amazon reviews and otherwise, this book series must have ripped off Harry Potter.
Did you read this series?

It's his special endowment. Others include telekinesis, the ability to fly, and the ability to talk to animals. Yeah, pretty cool. There is this guy Dagbert who tried to drown Charlie with his endowment, so not all's peaceful.

It does sound pretty wrong but they are enemies anyway.

I started to read it in 5th grade, but I got bored through the first book so I dropped it. But I think Harry Potter was a better series...

Harry Potter is DEFINITELY much better than the Charlie Bone series, for countless reasons.

I have read and loved the Charlie Bone series. I've read it pretty recently. I've read all seven, and I've gotta say, Charlie Bone and the Hidden King, was probably my favorite too.

Teehee, mine too. And if I'm thinking correctly, then also another favorite part was what happened to Manfred.
