What's your favorite tactical RPG?
Lately I've been playing alot of the PSP remake of Final Fantasy Tactics, but I absolutely LOVE Disgaea and Shining Force.

I enjoyed them, but their difficulty is only sub-par to the original Final Fantasy Tactics on the Playstation
I'm on the last Main Story mission in advanced 2

I beat A2 a long time ago. But beating all 300 missions takes a long time and a lot of effort I think i'm at about 275 or something.
In FFTA I beat all 300 missions in total beause i've started that game over like 3 times i've probabally played about 1000 hours in that one game seance it came out

yeah, I think Marche is a way cooler protagonist than Luso, even though Marche is just a knockoff of Ramza

I don't really play tactical RPGs ... aren't they just like normal RPG's?

I don't know why but in all FFTA games I always make my main person a Archer/ hunter. I like them because I love anoying people lots and lots of status.
The only probelm with thoes 2 is now my units are so powerful I will enter a fight (this is in 1). Kill all but one enemy. Then turn that enemy into a toad and duke it out with my allies until only one is standing and he/ she gets to kill the frog. Only way to gain ep

I hope you mean in FFTA, because in the original FFT, when your units died, they stayed dead. well, if you left them for at least 3 turns.
And to answer your question Dan, it is very similar to a regular RPG. You have your units that you level up and teach different abilities to, and you play to destroy another group of units on a turn based map.
