Ok post all AR questions here and i'll try to answer them. One I saw earlier is: what are all the numbers and letters under the code mean. Ok the numbers and letters underthe name of the code are what you imput into the AR device. They are what actually activivate the event in the game. I've been trying to figure out universal codes the only one's I think i've figured our are 0- I don't think it does anything D2 and then the rest of the line are zeros I've noticed that that means an "R" button trigger

You don't need to know what they do unless you want to make codes.
You do need to worry about them because you need them to activate the codes

Wouldn't that be like modding the game? (Going into files and changing values of, say, hitpoints for a unit?)

There's a mod in CIV 4 called Unaltered Gameplay and it saves you a LOT of time. It tells you if other AI's are planning on war right on the game screen when you would otherwise have to click through every AI's leader-head and see if they're planning on declaring war there (if you play CIV you know what I'm talking about). You should probably try mods that save you tons of time, but don't actually give you extra information or cheats that you wouldn't have without the mod.
