Whatever. If they're gonna be labeled like that every year and still win championships, then that's fine with me.

We got 26 of 'em. Don't care if dead ppl won them. 26 is still 26.

Well, NOW the Yankess have a bunch of star players, so I really think they should do well. Just ignore this crazy past decade for us. It's just a little drop in our performance.

they look best on paper, I have 2 agree, but they r not the best team and they WILL NOT GET INTO THE 2ND ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS

Other than Boston, which team do you think will get in the playoffs? I'm assuming you'll pick Boston to win so what other teams do you think have a decent and/or GREAT shot?

I pretty much agree but the Yankees will probably get in the playoffs instead of Rays ... off-season acquisitions will push us over the top.

Nah the rays have a group of young good players with some veterens 2 lead the team. The yankees dont have enough depth and their pitching staff isnt tht great.
if u want 2 argue go 2 the debate yanks sox thread

Yankees will beat out Rays- CC is better than Kazmir. AJ is better than Shields. Wang is better than Sonnanstine. Pettitte is better than Garza. Joba is better than whoever #5 starter for Rays is. Yankees have a bigger line up with lots of minor leaguers waiting for a call up.

wht was CC's record in AL last year? 2 words. Really bad.

That was last year...and CC did have a 17-10 overall record.
This year he's probably going to have more confidence in his team (I mean, he was pretty ecstatic about being a Yankee and a lot of fans will support him). Increased confidence means better performance.
