I coincide with Underrated's joy. The Yankees are on a seven game winning streak!

The NL will finally beat the AL this year.

Idk. I prefer the AL because Yankees are in the AL and I also have a couple of favorite players playing in the AL. I think Halladay will start the game, and he will probably out-perform Timmy if he does start.

Yeah so do I. I want the Yankees to have every possible advantage in order for them to win the WS.

Red Sox have a slim lead over NY. Been a while since both teams have been this close.

Yeah it would be cool if it were late September already. But we'll see. Btw this is definitely a horrible call in today's Yankees loss. mlb.mlb.com/media/video.jsp?content_id=5436895&c_id=nyy3rd base ump also called out Jeter while trying to steal 3rd base. If he had it right, maybe Yankees would've won today.

yeah i watched the video of jeter called out heads-up slide, moving his hands to avoid the tag, but the umpire just didn't see it. jeter knew he was safe, but the umpire didn't

Yeah. If he was called safe, then there would've been a good chance that he would've scored since he was stealing 3rd. Maybe the Yankees should've won that game.
Another example of why instant replay should be used to determine close plays like this.

haha no if they used it then there would b like 10 replays used in each game. slow it down way 2 much. yea i do agree tht jeter was safe but it was in the 1st inning. yea they probably wouldve scored tht run if ump called him safe but whtever. and if this was sox i still think tht there should not b IR

I agree it would slow down games. But we don't wanna a blown call ruin a team's WS hopes or playoff hopes, don't we?
Maybe it should only be used in the postseason.
Red Sox got 2-hit by the Athletics. So their 1-game lead remain.

Sox just suck against the AL West except in playoffs

Wow really? I didn't know that.
Seems that Yankees are almost the opposite, although they've beaten the A's and Mariners a lot in the playoffs.
