Is it moral to tell kids there's a man who every christmas breaks in to people's house eats there food they leave out for him, deliver their presents, and leaves?

It makes Christmas special that way. When I figured out Santa wasn't real it kind of took the mystical, magical, and mysterious part of Christmas away.

Christmas was a lot more fun when I believed in Santa Clause. It's still my favorite holiday, but its missing that "magical" sense.

I agree, but for me, it was really quite dreadful, it was such a disappointment.

Well, I was never one for believing in myths, so I would say it's not really moral. But that's just me.

I was for it, until, I discovered it wasn't true. It's not the moral issue with stealing so much as lying to children. It was all wonderful, until I discovered it was a lie. Then, I was really disappointed, that dad had to lie to me, and this wonderful man didn't exist.

I agree with all of you guys... I even yelled to my parents once when I found out that Santa Claus wasn't real, and they looked very unhappy when I found that out on my own.
Actually, I believe it was DAMNIT who told me that Santa Claus wasn't real... so F U DAMNIT. It made my Christmases less exciting but yet it's still my favorite holiday.
