Who do you think are the top 3 WR's right now in the NFL? Please do defend your picks.
My picks are:
1) Larry Fitzgerald- there's no question he's the game's best WR right now. 2) Steve Smith- he may be short, really short, but his toughness is unquestionable and he has uncanny ways of beating taller defenders to grab the ball. He's also one of my favorite WR's to watch. 3) Calvin Johnson- he's only 23, and he has already put up monster numbers... all while being with the lowly Lions and sucky QB's. Tall, physical WR with excellent hands.
I'm pretty sure y'all have some other WR's in mind like Randy Moss and others who you might think are better than some of the WR's I chose. If so, please do tell me why they are better than the ones I chose.

No. We're doing it based on their whole skill set. I mean not on their careers, but like how talented they are right now. Doesn't have to be based on stats.

1). Larry Fitzgerald - Amazing skill, can get to the ball even if it means jumping up and get decked on the way back down. Amazing speed
2). Plaxico Burress - Before he shot himself in the leg, he was an amazing althete. He is tall, well bulit, spectular catching and fast. Exactly what a amazing wide reciver is.
3). Brandon Marshall - What an amazing althete this guy is. He is like the Randy Moss of the Broncos. Although Randy Moss didn't make my list he is still great and would come in at 4. But Marshall has unquestionable catching skills and is fast.

I agree that the other 2 WR's are good. But come on, Smith is a better receiver than both of them. He is more consistent, and he plays a lot even when he was injured. Also his stats are SIMILAR to both of the other 2 WR's, while Smith's been playing with a lousy QB while Plax had Eli who always seemed to throw the ball to him all the time and Marshall had Cutler, who has a cannon for an arm.
Calvin is an even better athlete than both of them. He's bigger and faster too. Period.

The picks you made made it really hard to argue with. I can't really think of anyone besides Andre Johnson, but I think he is #4.

I agree. If Moss had better character and actually 'worked' hard during his younger days, then he could've been easily the 2nd best NFL WR all-time.
