Who will be the next baseball player to get the triple crown? The triple crown is when you lead in AVG, HR, and RBIs in your respective league

Maybe Bryce Harper.
But if I had to choose from any player who is playing right now in the majors, then I would have to go with Pujols, Hanley, or Longoria.

He might, but it's really hard to win the triple crown.
Ted Williams was the last person to win it I believe.

Wow, you are really bad. It was Carl Yastrzemski. Ted was the last to hit over .400

I knew Williams was the last one to hit over .400. I've known that for like 4 years.
I just got messed up with the facts.
Peavy was last one to win pitching Triple Crown I believe.

You have to lead in wins, ERA, and K's to win the pitching TC.

i say either Lincecum or Halladay win tht TC

Well it's hard to win it. Idk about Halladay because he doesn't get as many strikeouts as the premiere strikeout guys like Burnett, Peavy, Verlander and Timmy.

I say that wins are kind of overrated

Yeah they are. Which is why a pitcher who wants to win the TC needs to have a good O behind him.

For the triple crown, I would say Albert Pujols for currently active players.

I say that wins are kind of overrated Yeah, because a lot can happen that's out of a pitcher's control. A pitcher can pitch 8 hitless innings and have his team score 4 runs. Then, the relief pitcher allows 5 runs in the ninth and the pitcher gets a no-decision.

Well if he needed, say, 130 pitches to get through 8, then there's a slight chance the manager will take him out to keep him fresh and injury-free.
But on the other hand, I can see that he's only 1 inning away from history. So...
