PS3 is a better system. X-Box has better game selection. It's like comparing Apples and Oranges, really. All a matter of personal preference.

yeah. the only reason more people have 360s is because they are cheaper and it came out earlier

Won't a sequel to the XBOX 360 be coming out in 2-3 years-ish?

I'm not sure. I've never heard anything about it. I think it would be bad move on their part to release a new system. I doubt they've discovered anything new that could make their new system better than what's already out there.

i don't think they should release a new system because nothing they can release will ever be better than Sony's Playstations.

I actually have both systems. They each offer different things to me.
I use the PS3 for watching movies - The blu ray player is fantastic on an HDTV and it upscales the older dvds to a nice quality. I also have a ton of old PS and PS2 games that I play on it. I don't play many actual PS3 games as I don't like the controller for first person shooting and I enjoy the achievments on the 360. PS3 does offer a completely free online playing experience, but it pales in comparison to what Xbox Live has to offer and it's only 50 bucks a year.
Now the 360 as a machine is a complete piece of crap. I am on my 3rd console... thank goodness I had a warranty from Best Buy. I enjoy the games on 360 more and for that reason I'll have to put it as my favorite gaming system, but Microsoft needs to learn its lesson and build a better device next time around.

I don't see a difference between both of them when I play on them (I've played on both of them before). 360 is a lot cheaper, so it would be a better bang for your buck.

actually with the XBOX 360 I heard tht u have 2 buy add ons 2 it. like internet, fan(so it wont overheat) and other stuff. with the PS3 u dont need 2 buy tht. also i heard the 360 controllers cost more than the PS3's. and since ik u like sport games then u should buy the PS3. better graphics. sport games r multi platform and gameplay is about the same

I'm considering selling my old x-box and 50-something games so I can buy either a 360 or ps3.

infamams the X-box has the best graphics of any system thats why most of its games are rated M. And Fast i would not trade in to try and get a system because you will get about $2 if your extreemly luckly for a mint condition used game. Trad ins are a rip off!

ps3 has way better graphics. just because games have better graphics doesnt make them M.

It raises the rating more like a game I have called Jet Force Gemini was rated T but was really bloddy and now would be rated M because the graphics would be better.

"Oh no! The ball is too realistic. It has to be rated M now."
That doesn't happen

At stores like EB Games and GameStop, I see many X-Box used games being sold for like 10 dollars. So if I sell 30 games, then I'll get about 300 dollars. That ain't bad. Plus I would sell the system for maybe 100 dollars plus 15 dollars for the new, wireless controllers I got about a year ago.

not true. The buying price is not the same as the sellback price. It wouldn't work out as well as you might think. I'd say you'd be lucky to get $150 for the whole bundle.

PS3 FTW! Xbox 360 is made by Microsoft, so it is therefore buggy, which makes it suck.
