Hey guys! I can't believe I didn't post a CYOA (Choose Your Own Adventure) yet here. Well, let's get that fixed! 
Anyway, a CYOA is basically like a normal story, but at the end of each "section" I will offer a list of choices that are possible for readers to select. Then, after readers have submitted their votes, I will continue on with the next section and will adjust the writing according to how the choices were like. You'll see how this goes when I start the story. Oh, and one last thing -- this story is from YOUR perspective. So, the main character is basically YOU -- just pretend you're a sixteen year old student, and nothing more. The gender of the main character in this story will be able to sway both ways.

Chapter 1 - The Trip
You are walking on a sidewalk several blocks away from home. You have to go to the grocery store in order to buy some food for dinner, and your car is in repair at the moment so you can't use it. But that's not a big issue for you ... after all, you've got no problem walking.
However, once you get near the store, you hear someone call out your name. You turn around, and see two of your best friends, Greg and Lisa!
"Hey guys!" you wave to them, smiliing. They smile back and start jogging towards you, eager to talk.
"Where are you going?" Greg asked. "Hopefully not the grocery store again! Why don't you come over to my place and the three of us can hang out?" Lisa nodded in agreement, and you're now faced with a choice. Your parents wanted you to get the groceries, but you also want to hang out with your friends.
Choice 1: Ditch the groceries and hang out with Greg and Lisa
Choice 2: Decline Greg's invitation and continue to walk towards the store.
