Hey guys, who here has used vBulletin before? In case you didn't know, vBulletin is probably the most successful forum provider there is, possibly tied with php. vBulletin, for instance, has boards which have millions of posts while ProBoards has less than 10 boards with a million posts. (I got these stats from Big Boards.) bigboards.com

I disagree, IPB is best. vBulletin is kind of sucky forums, and it costs the high price. IPB costs only 150, is expensive but is the best choice of the forum that there is. Many people have widely used IPB throughout the world. However, a business forum costs 300 dollars, only for business things and/or companies.

IPB and Invision Free are completely different things. However, I would have to disagree with Cake. Even though vBulletin doesn't look like a good forum software, it's so much more powerful than the others.

Also, vBulletin is probably more popular. Judging from BigBoards.com, more vBulletin boards are up there than IPB board. However, I was also reading some review about those two providers and the guy writing it said that they both have their own advantages and disadvantages that it's impossible to pinpoint a better software. I'll see if I can find that article.
