ha I'd write a story but I feel I've read so many books and played so many video games that any plot I came up with would be horribly cliche and unoriginal

Post a story here anyway. Or try to forget about what you've read before and make a new plot (yes it's difficult).

Or do what I do. My story is about 75% off the top of my head and only 25% is planed out before hand.

the problem is the top of my head has seen so much television and such that I never know whether I'm being creative or ripping somebody off.
