well, I have a bad habit of looking at things logically, so no, I did not like the ending. don't want to spoil it for anybody who hasn't read it though. You can talk about the ending here, but be sure to use spoiler tags by clicking Reply and then clicking on the rightmost "S" UBBC code. It was pretty weird how Darren tricked Mr. Tiny...that's all I'll say.

I didn't like their use of time travel, because the fact that he prevented himself from going would remove the need of him TO prevent himself from going, and would create a logical paradox, and possibly rip the time-space continuum.

I also hated that Darren chose to become a little person like Harkat. It was the bad thing to do. He could've killed Steve and just become vampire king and just live like that.

My memory on the book is a little fuzzy but wasn't Darren in the vicinity of Mr. Tiny and given no choice but to become a little person? I mean, with Mr. Tiny, there is no escape, of course.

That evil dude is the Lord of the Shadows. But, of course, there wasn't any LotS. Maybe we should redirect some of this discussion in the Cirque du Freak thread. ;D
