I also play for my high school soccer team. I played one year of varsity (this past season) as a junior, and I'm planning on playing again in my senior year. The amount of work needed is quite high, as in the beginning of the season you get 4 hours of practice a day. However, after the season's over, you get some great memories.

Yeah, and JV was a big jump from frosh. There were quite a few more hours of practice (and more games I think as well) and I had to work harder. If i get on varsity, itll be even MORE work. But it would be exciting, even if I dont play a lot.

The biggest jump is probably from JV to Varsity. Modified and Freshman teams have the smallest jump in terms of difficulty in my opinion.

Many kids skip the Frosh level to go straight from Modified to JV, which only proves the point.

If DAMNIT hits the gym a lot this summer and improve his strength and stuff like that, then the varsity team isn't out of the question. I'm gonna do the same for JV basketball.
