I'm just wondering, what do you think is the best anti-virus program available? I would say Norton, but what do you all think? (Especially Cake, as this is mostly directed towards you ;D.)

AVG is the better anti-virus, when I got it, I was satisfied with this.  You should try it out: www.avg.com/.  |

It's an annoying program, and when I play during my time, a message appears that you need to scan your computer. I am already scanning my own computer with AVG based on the schedule time daily. F.Y.I, Norton only need to have a message appear in order to scan your computer while AVG does not, it will still scan even if you close it no matter. |

I suppose at least Norton is trying to do its job, then.  I also use Micro PC Security on my computer. I don't know whether that's a built-in program on my computer or if I purchased it. Confusing, isn't it? |

I currently use AVG free, and I HATE norton, thing is lucky to detect trojans.
I've heard good things about Malwarebytes though, so I may check it out. It's about time I dual-layer my protection

I have Malwarebytes but even so my computer has been infested with all kidnms of viruses, etc. Ridiculous, really.  Good thing I'm getting a new system soon. |

Just to give a note, do not have more than one anti virus programs as they may interface each other which can be a major problem.

Wouldn't it be better to have more since some may catch viruses that other programs miss due to their incompetence?

actually, it is better to have 2 anti-virus, as long as you make sure they do NOT conflict with each other(meaning Norton is no good)
but to be safe, you should avoid having more than 2

I don't know, as I currently am only running 1 anti-virus.
What I would do is check around online to see what work well together.
