How competitive is your school in terms of school sports? Is it really easy to make a team, or is it really difficult? Obviously, the size of the school is important, but there are other factors, such as the availability of youth programs which virtually exponentially increase a school's competitiveness in sports.
Anyway, my high school's very competitive, so I voted for that. It's not on the "extreme" side, but it's certainly competitive enough for me.

I go to the same school as Tak, and I agree that our school is very competitive, just a notch below the 'elites'. We have a wonderful XC program, soccer teams, basketball teams, baseball teams, and of course, track team.

Considering we go to the same school, I'm not surprised at the poll results. ;D
Hopefully someone else can join the discussion here.

In my school, we seem to have a group of kids who ALWAYS attend games, and then we have the group who NEVER attend the games. Ironically, I happen to be in the "never" group. But considering the size of my school (with almost 2,000 students), it's no wonder why we have packed basketball and football stands every time we have a game.

Yeah our 'home' crowd can be compared to the 'Cameron Crazies' of Duke. We even made a movie based on our 'loyal' crowd. I haven't gone to any games lately because of track and other things to do after school.

Because most of our fans wear red and when the athletes look in the audience, they see a "sea" of red. It's actually quite popular in our school.

Actually, I believe the Red Sea has gotten criticism by our school for being too "unsportsmanship-like." We're fighting to get it back, and I don't know if it's allowed or not.

Our school even made shirts that say RED SEA on them. I'm not a part of the Red Sea, but I do know some people who are. And yeah, sometimes the Red Sea can be obnoxious...
