Yep! Yay!
Btw how the f****** hell can Wake be in the AS game and not somebody else like CC? That is just plain wrong.
If you look at their stats, CC has the better ERA, more K's, less walks, more innings pitched per start, and less hits allowed. Also he leads in a lot more categories that I am not gonna bother listing.
Also if you look at their run support, Wake has had 10 starts in which the Sox gave him at least a 6-run lead, while Yanks O have staked CC to at least a 6-run lead 6 times, with Wake getting at least a 10-run lead 3 times compared to CC's 1. So this is why Wake has the better record.
Wake has pitched at least 7 innings in a start just 5 times this season. CC has gone 7 innings or more 11 times this year. Throw in the fact that Wake's ERA is 45 points higher than CC's and you've gotten yourself an overrated pick. CC does deserve to go to the AS game.

U r just mad cause ur a yanks fan. Maddon apperently said tht Wake's career should b honored or something like tht. I mean even sport experts thought wake should b an all star so shut up

Stats don't lie.
And aren't AS games all about honoring those who had a good 1st half of the year? Not based on their careers?

well thts wht maddon said i think idk. and anyways Wake has had a very good 1st half. dont give me shit bout CC and everything cause i could find pitchers better than CC anyway. So shut up and enjoy the ASG. If any1 got ripped off it was Milwood

Weaver also got ripped off.
CC is still a good pitcher.

Congratulations on your easy win Underrated. I am glad that Derek Jeter got the starting shortstop position again.

He won it based on total popularity. But I'm pretty sure there's at least another SS out there in the AL who deserve his spot.
