PROLOGUE: This is not some book or story. I fear if I do not write this, my story will never be told. Oh, yes, my name is Django Lazarus. If this journal finds its way into your hands, please, I beg of you, make sure the world hears my tale. This blank book, upon which I am writing my tale, is one of my last possessions. On my person, I have nothing more than this book, a few pens, a handgun with some ammunition, and the clothing on my back. The cave I have decided to take residence in for the night is damp, and I can hear the sounds of the river just outside rushing by. The wind howls down the tunnel, and my fire will soon be going out. My struggle for survival has only just begun.
sound good so far? Expect me to add to this whenever I find myself unable to sleep while the computer is conveniently powered up.

I figured I'd take a memoir-esque style up, see how it works out.

This is a pretty good start so far, and I like the memoir style. Please continue. (And edit "taale" to "tale".) *Added to our writer's directory.

hehe my bad. One of the few issues I've discovered with linux is that it nearly triples my typo rate.

Yeah, you do want to be careful about typos. You could change "Duck" to another word which has a first letter right next to "D." Anyway ....
